Wind powered water pump

On a walk in Pevensey in East Sussex, near the ruins of the 4th century castle, we came across this metal wind powered pump. It lifts water from underground into the pond that surrounds it. The animals in the fields use this for drinking water. Excess drains into the river. I became fascinated by, not just it's mechanics, but by the noise it made. So, I ended up making a digital model of it on computer using a Cinema 4D (3D modelling software).

A video of the real thing is on YouTube here.
